Australian Lions Foundation
Change to Structure of ALF
The link below will download an Application Form for membership of the Australian Lions Foundation Limited. Under the previous structure, prior to June 2016, all Clubs were automatically members of the Foundation but since the change to a Company Limited by Guarantee, we have to request all Lions Clubs to re-apply to meet the new legislative requirements. For Clubs to receive the benefits of Grants from the Foundation, they must be members. Leo and Lioness Clubs wishing to apply for Grants in their own name will do so through their sponsor Club instead of direct to the Foundation.
The Australian Lions Foundation was formed with the sole purpose of providing help and assistance for public relief, emergency aid and community welfare for persons in necessitous circumstances.
Funds come from gifts received from Lions, Lioness and Leo Clubs, Zones, Districts and other Lions Groups, individuals and interest from investments.

All Clubs have people in their local community that are not Lions that support your Club in different ways. It may be through volunteering, sponsorship, assistance for fundraising events or with the general support of your Clubs and projects…. Present them with an Australian Lions Foundation Community Service Award. This prestige glass award, engraved with the Club and recipients name is available for a small cost of $250 ….. It is a great acknowledgement from you and will mean a lot to the recipient. Order Forms can be found on the ALF Website or through your District ALF Chairman.
