District Q4 Convention 24th October 2020

Due to Covid -19 restrictions it has been necessary to move this year’s convention on- Line using Zoom.

This requires a significant change to convention format and content.  We plan to retain, as much as possible, the social and informative aspects of a regular convention while also completing our annual statutory administrative tasks.  Voting by Delegates will be completed by postal vote.

We are still formalising the procedure and will let you know closer to date of 24th October 2020.

As a guideline the day will commence at 8.30am and finish around 3.00pm

We will have a person officially opening the day along with the usual general opening procedures.

There will be no flag ceremony.

A remembrance ceremony will be held in the morning and after a morning tea break, we will have a guest speaker.

The business session will commence following the guest speaker running into a lunch break.

After lunch we will present the nominations for DG elect, 1st VDG elect and 2nd VDG elect. Nomination and officer speeches will be carried out at this time.

A break will follow and then we will have the 2021 and 2022 convention presentations.
